Hi,
i plan on overclocking an Intel 4770k CPU, i was looking at the h100 series and was wondering if there was any benefit, for the price, to choosing the h100i over the h100 since i plan on replacing the stock fans either way.

Solution
none - the "i" is useful only if you purchase the Corsair iLink module. otherwise no difference at all

I would suggest reading this: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-heat-sink-haswell,3554-24.html

When comparing those reviewed to performance of the h100, you will find the H100 performs lower than the coolers listed in that review - and Haswell is a bit of a hotter chip than Ivy. H100 could deal mith a mild OC like 4.2/3 but anything over that - not sure what your plans are) you need something heftier and more capable
