I watched the Youtube guides and read the tom's HW forums on how to access BIOS in windows 8:
Settings > Change PC settings > General > Advanced Startup > Troubleshooting > UEFI startup
It does not load a BIOS when I follow precise instructions, so I figured I would give AMD OD a try.
Seems easy to follow I'm extreme novice level and just seek a bump from my disappoint FPS on what seems to be a good computer! AMD A8-5500 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 3.20GHz, 6.00GP RAM, Windows 8 64-bit, AMD Radeon(TM) HD 7560D
I am sure there are more information I could provide but not sure what anyone would need to help me...
In the AMD OD Cpu Status menu it actually says the Frequency is 3493MHz with Target Speed 3200MHz so I guess there is already some sort of turbo being applied? However the Gpu Status "Engine 304MHz (sometimes bumps to 608MHz), Memory 800MHz"
The idea of pushing my computer past factory settings sets in easily, and since I cannot access the Windows 8 BIOS (after following precise instruction it just shows a grey screen when I choose to restart in the UEFI restart..), I would like to know how Should I configure AMD OverDrive so that it's better FPS on games (I already play lowest graphics settings) without blowing up my rig Thanks!
