Fed up of my current mouse mat, as its too small and getting old. Looking for some decent suggestions to a newer one, that is both large and comfortable.

Had a look at a couple, one being the Razer Goliath (sold out on Amazon currently)

Corsair Vengeance Extra Large:

Not wanting to spend a bomb really (The corsair is £20 which is probably the highest I will go.

Thanks in advance!

The Razer Goliathus is the mousepad I use, and they come in various sizes. The Extended size is pretty large and can accomodate a keyboard as well as a mouse.
They come in two finishes, the Control and Speed edition. Basically how much friction the mousepad offers.

I have the extended version of Razer Goliathus and damn its good.
You can also try the large version of it if you don't want your keyboard to be placed on top.
If you prefer the large version, go take a look at some of Steelseries' mousepads :D

^ That reminds me!
If your willing to go way over budget but get a PC component themed anti-static mat that I'm sure will work fine as a mousepad, these are a good option.

Oh wow! Those mats are pretty damn pretty, however they do look a little pricey, let alone what ever extortionate delivery they'd charge to our little Island. That gun one is a little OTT surely :p

perhaps. the 1911 mat is actually marketed as a gun cleaning mat to provide a surface for disassembling a pistol without scratching it however it is made out of the same materials as a mouspad. i'm a 1911 owner and when i saw it i instantly thought mousepad. i had it at work for years.

funny thing is that its actually cheaper than most gaming cloth mousepads. mouse mat products from razer, corsair and other companies are like 800%+ profit.

a few other choices...

11x17 solid black with easyglide coating $15
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817114174

11x17 blue with design $7
http://www.altex.com/Altex-Mouse-Pad-11-x-17-x-18-cloth-surface-MP-XL-P153322.aspx

or you can just buy a known product from razer or corsair on ebay and possibly get it for 25% of the going price.

just an idea...

Fair play, being in a country where guns are illegal without a permit would never have thought to look up a gun assembling mat ;)

Lots of lovely ideas guys, NONE of which were available to me here in the UK sadly, so I went for this in the end:

Seems it'll do the job in its extra large size so fingers crossed! Thanks for all the responses.
