I'll start w/ my specs -

i5 760 OC'd to 3.6ghz (could prob push this to 3.8ghz/4 - noticed a difference from 3.3>3.6 already)
Coolermaster 212
Gigabyte US3L-p55 1156 socket
Radeon 7850 2GB Sapphire (small OC)
8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM 1600
OCZ Gold 80 standard PSU 550w
and 3 separate HDD's, one for OS, one for games, one for dxtory/fraps (slowest is 60mb/s, recording drive is 120mb/s according to dxtory benchmarking)

Some generic 1080p 2ms HKC (fail) monitor - 1080p though)
Some generic keyboard (tolerable though)
and a budget gigabyte m6800 mouse

Budget is about £400/450 GBP. Basically I want to be recording my gameplay, which I do now, but I can feel the difference. Games I wanna record are Arma2/3, BF3/4 etc - standard. Quite CPU heavy however. The only thing that I'm thinking is I *could* upgrade my monitor, however it's 1080p, tolerable and has a 2ms response time. I could put that £150-200 toward a mobo/CPU. Keyboard I'm 100% on upgrading, gonna go mechanical - thinking of picking up the CM storm - it's in a 60-80 price range which is ideal. If my i5 760 oc'd to 3.8/4ghz could make a difference, I could pick up a monitor instead and some HDD space which I need. If no, I could pick up a Haswell/Mobo with the remaining money from the keyboard, or a new GPU/PSU,

In my shoes what would you do with my specs/budget wanting to capture gameplay from those games? I even looked @ hardware solutions, Avermedia card etc but doesn't seem the best option reading the forums/reviews. I'm not massively bothered about turning stuff like AA off or some settings down - youtube kills the quality anyway and i'm not a massive graphics whore running 3 monitors.

If I could pick up a 1-2tb HDD, mech keyboard + CPU/mobo for 400-450 i'd be happy! But i've seen benchmark wise the i5 760 can still kinda hold its own, so would dropping 250+ on a 4670k and mobo make a huge difference to my FPS + while recording?

To give a idea of some prices I've seen a 4670k + mobo for about £280, a sapphire vapour-x 7970 for £290, gigabyte windforce 3gb 7870 for £240, GTX 680 for £299, some IPS panels for £200-250. Hell, I could even dump another 7850 and PSU in.

Thanks :):)
