Questions on PC parts (mainly power supply unit)

I am building a gaming PC with these parts. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1js4a Will that power supply unit last me long enough to save for a better one? Is there any risk of it frying any of my parts on first power-up? Also, how should I go about getting a new PSU (for when I upgrade from this one)? What brands should I watch out for? What wattage should I look for? Keep in mind that I plan on getting a GTX 770 card and maybe SLIing it, and I also plan on overclocking the i5 4670k. Also keep in mind that I have never built a computer before, but I do know the lingo from researching it intensively.

Buddy , stay away from that PSU , it's low quality PSU which means it can damage your whole system ...

go for Seasonic, Antec , corsair , XFX , OCZ

Btw , 600w will be more than enough for you whole system .. this is some 600w PSU
