Tell me your opinion

so i am building a computer for some friends. i picked out the parts and told them the cost. i told them if they didn't think that those part were good then to go and ask someone they trust. so they went to best buy lol. best buy told them that i knew nothing about computer so now they don't want me to build them a computer could you take a look at my build and tell me if there is anything wrong with them or if i really don't know what i'm doing. heres the link to both of there builds

Best buy are terrible, that is good rig, I have that case. Could you possibly upgrade the water cooler to a H60 Hydro series. (it is £55) and the performance is considerably better. This rig will surely be able to play games. I think you have done a good job.

I cant see the first one as its marked as private. Nothing wrong with the 2nd. I might have went with a HD7970 for $350. Other than that its higher quality parts than you are going to find in any system the sell at Best Buy and cheaper.

Still a cpu generation behind but there isn't a significant performance difference between Ivy bridge and Haswell anyway. Not a bad build, decent mid-range gamer.

Honestly, if they went to Best Buy for computer advise, you sure you want them as a customer(in my exprience many times they turn out to be more trouble than thier worth but thats just me). If they took best buys advice I bet they come back begging for you to fix it when Best buy screws them. When this happens to me I charge double.

lolol i know what you mean. i think i will take your advise and do that. i mean you can't blame them for not being knowledgeable about computers and i sure look like an idiot for even asking you guys whether bestbuy was right or i was right but i dont know it just pisses me off, im sure you would feel the same way.

I understand I have had the same thing happen to me, only to have them come back after they get a pile for more than I was chrging or after they finally manage to get it back from them in worse shape than when they took it in.
