Hello everyone.

I encountered quite a trouble today when i turned off my computer for a fast check up to my network card and when i tried to turn on my pc again it... did and didnt. Basically it turned on, shutted down and again turned on but it didnt gave any video.

Im not sure if it is my PSU. It never gave me troubles, no random reebots, no issues like... nothing. And then this happens.

I let it rest for a while, and when i tried again same thing happens. Worried but really fucking upset i went abck to my generic PSU a 300W to check if it was my current PSU the trouble. Surprisingly same thing happens... no video.

Again i instaled back my current PSU and by some weird miracle everything ran fine again.

Im not sure if it is my PSU or my MOBO but this is really worrying me. im afraid that if i turn it off it wont start again.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

The most likely answer in my view is that you inadvertently loosened a power cord probably on the video card enough that it broke the connection. Then when you reinstalled everything you fixed it. Depending on your specs that 300W might not have been able to power everything. So you should be fine.

Might have something to do with your voltage. At least you have the option to switch out your psu. Mines been stuck in my MoBo since I first plugged it in for an initial test. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to have to stick a psu and a mobo into a case at the same time?

It could be a heating issue. I had my computer shut down on me, turn back on and shut down again, then not turn on at all due to an overheating psu. Try checking your computers overall temps to get an idea of how hot your psu might be running since I don't know any way to actually check the psu temp.

Doubt is anything related to heat. The highest temp my MOBO ever gotten is 46C which is high but not that dangerous.

By the way. I have no GPU but integrated. I have to fix the fan of my current one. I will take the 2nd reply as the answer. Honestly a failing PSU would be more obvious than just a 1 time issue. Hopefully this will be the last time.
