I think I'd go with the 3770K in the event you do decide to OC and most people end up wanting to, even if only for awhile, there's not a ton of difference at stock, the 4770 has an advantage, but knowing you can OC the K model means it will prob keep you happier longer

Ya, most of the major motherboard manufacturers have found a way to bypass the chipset limitation and allow the h87 chipset to overclock. The z87 chipset is no longer required to overclock.
