Why are you posting this again? Did you not get the answer last time? What are your overall fps when gaming? You can't just say: "My fps drops to 30 when being shot at and my friend says he doesn't get any drops". If you really want to say that there are information that you need to provide to us:

Your specs?
What settings and resolution are you gaming at?

Your friend's specs?
What settings and resolutions is he gaming at?

I can already tell you that you are not the only one that gets fps drops when alot of things are going on in BF3. Being shot in by rocket pods while in a tank for example is one of the things that drops your fps. I wouldn't worry too much about it to be honest.

While I do not nor would I ever play any multiplayer for any reason in the world I have read that it is more taxing on the system than singleplayer and there for more chances to have lower fps. I know that at least the singleplayer plays great at a steady 60fps vsync'ed on the rig in my sig.

From what I can see it is the bigger 64 player maps that have more problems and thus require more from the CPU to play. Even i5 3570K's have problems with some maps and there again that is from what I have read have not tried it myself.

I guess you could roll back to 320.18 to try to see if there's any difference but again. Are you and your friends playing at same settings as well? Are you 100% sure he doesn't have fps drops as well? It is quite normal you know.
