Hello Everyone.

This would be my first time assembling a PC, and i have searched a lot for the perfectect requirements that should fit my budget and criteria.

The specs are :

AMD FX 63000

ATI RADEON HD 7870 MYST POWERCOLOR

A 600 watt power supply

and the mobo : ASUS M5A97 R2.0 {Random pick, dont know if theres a better one for a better price}

Now, should those specs be able to handle Crysis 3 at 1080p Very High settings {FXAA} and {Motion Blur} Disabled // {AF} lowered. At above than 30 FPS? would it be future proof for a couple of years , saying that i will be running next gen games at medium settings.

Solution
You in no way shape or form need a i5 4670K to run Crysis 3 period. The FX CPU's are actually quite good gaming CPU's and fitted with the correct GPU can handle any and every game out with no problems what so ever.

Both of my AMD/ATI rigs handle Crysis 3 with no problems 1080p ultra/max settings. I have a FX-8120 with a Sapphire HD 7950 Crossfire and a FX-8350 with a Sapphire HD 7970 Crossfire and they both play Crysis 3 every bit as good as my i5 3570K with a Gigabyte SLI GTX 670 setup.

As for the GPU the Sapphire HD 7870 GHz Edition can be had for $184 at Newegg so $75 cheaper than the GTX 760. And it is really a good mid level GPU. While the GTX 760 is faster it is also quite abit higher price.

Dude the Nvidia 760 is hands down better than the 7870LE in every way. Its 250. AMD processors are rather weak. Stick with a i5 4670k.

Keep the discussion relevant to the thread, bashing on a particular game isnt relevant to the OP's requests.

I personally find that with my rig (3570k, HD7970) I can achieve high/ultra settings (lowering performance killers like AA to 2x and Post Processing to off) while maintaining 45FPS or better during gameplay.
Heres a summary of how graphics cards perform in Crysis 3 at various resolution, all Ultra settings at 4x AA.

Thanks for the helpful reply.
So, if i replace the 7870 withe the gtx 760, would it be possible for crysis 3 to run on very high with AA and motion blur off, and i cannot afford a CPU like the I5 Which is 150 dollars higher than the FX6300, but as for crysis, isnt more cores better? i mean i doubt the game would fully use a CPU like the fx6300

Youtube gameplay video's are not a good indicator of a cards performance. Most of the time they don't actually show the settings they are running at (including resolution and AA) and there is no FRAPS counter to measure FPS. Plus it is easy to fake, I'v seen videos claiming maxed out BF3 at 60FPS on an FX-4100 with a GTX650.
