upgrading my processor need help

i have a dell inspiron 570 amd athlon II x2. i upgraded the power supply and got an amd radeon 6770 but want to get a quad core processor without any other trouble of not matching the motheboard. any sugesstion? asking for a quad core with atleast 3.0 ghz

After reading ask questions.

Shortly you can upgrade up to Phenom II x4 965 BE and even overclcok it, but in this case you will need new case and more parts.

To prevent headache with cooling, if you can allocate 95 watt Phenom 945 or 955 that would be great.
