which parts of a system can be used in your next one? i.e. to save money

Hi I was just wondering about this? Obviously not CPU or motherboard, but RAM and a PSU would be fine, wouldnt they? (assuming the PSU was powerful enough). And a case would as well as they don't matter that much. Are any others reusable and am I wrong on any of the above?

You can move a CPU, unless you no longer want it. You can also move an old GPU along, depending on your new mobo and CPU (if you get some) you can even move the CPU cooler along.

I thought coolers were socket specific? If I were moving from one PC to another, it would almost certainly have a different socket
