I recently built and gaming pc and although the usb 3.0 ports on the back panel work, i am having problems with the usb 2.0 ports. I have 4 vertical ports. I originally plugged my keyboard into the top one and the mouse into the one below it. They work like this but if i switch them round then they don't work. If i plug them into the bottom two they work fine but the keyboard will only work in the top usb and the mouse in the one below.
Also, the two usb 3.0 ports on my bitfenix prodigy case don't work even though they are plugged into the mobo. The system detects something being plugged in but comes up that the device is not recognised. I have updated all the drivers for my mobo as well as all the intel drivers and windows updates. Anyone know what's going on?
