Hallo
I have a Samsung Hard disk drive with the following part number : HN-M320MBB/Z4. Can anyone explain what the suffix "Z4" implies?

I have noticed that some disc drives can be ordered with part number HN-M320MBB. Others can be ordered with the part number HN-M320MBB/Z4

Solution
the z4 is the revision number which can change for numerous reasons and is only important for running raids to insure maximum compatibility.

Hallo
THank you for your interest in this discussion
I understand your revision number statement. I am not understanding your running raids statment. Can you please explain to me what you perceive this to be?
Have you experienced a similar concern when ordering this type of HDD?
