Open the PC without a case? opening a house door without a house?...I am a bit confused here
I will simply guess that you mean "leaving the PC open without a case"
If this is the case...
Basically leaving the PC open without a case is doable but no recommendable for longer term due to dust, air flow reasons, etc.

Just plug everything in like normal... Except outside of a case... Sit the motherboard on a cardboard box or something, sit your hard drives and power supply in a level spot... When you're ready to turn it on just take a screw driver and touch it to the the spot where the power cable would plug in. Use one with a rubber handle so you don't get shocked and do it with one hand. Make sure the metal part of the screw driver touches both ends where the power cable plugs in.

No. Just 1. Two would leave an open circuit. What you're wanting to do is make contact from one pin to the other with a single screw driver. Think of it as like a bridge.. There's a gap between the two pins and you want to bridge the gap. The two pins next to where it says PWR SW. That's the power switch.

ya just get a screw driver and look for these pins [::::.] upper right corner... yes those two above on the right corner just get a metal bridge to connect those two then voila!

BTW: what i came here for is that i want to ask how to start a PSU without a motherboard.. thats all
i have an ASUS 24 pin PSU.. any help?
