How to check version of pci e slot

I use geforce 610 right now and i have pcie x16 slot
How to check if it is 1.0, 2.0 or 3.0 as i want to put my 7750 1gb ddr5 in it

Do you know what motherboard it is? Its usually in the owners manual.

For your purposes, it doesn't matter which revision it is. The different PCIe revisions are forward and backward compatible.
You can find out by checking the motherboards product page.

Assuming the system was built/bought after ~2007, it should be PCIe Gen2. If it was bought very recently, then its likely Gen3.

Manufacturer- MSI
Model- Boston 1.0
Chipset- intel p35/g33/g31 rev.10
Southbridge - intel 8280 1gb (ich7/r) rev. a1
LPCIO- F71882F

That is probably PCIe 1.1 A lot of p35/g33/g31 have 1.1 into it. Pure 1.0 PCIe lasted quite short before changed with 1.1. Anyway if the GT610 works, then the 7750 will work. Don't worry.
