First Build (1000 dollar max)

Sup guys I am looking to doing my first build. I mostly just play Warcraft and LOL. Not that demanding but I want something that runs good and smooth. My last laptop was bought 3 years ago at best buy, while it still works its ti e for an upgrade. What are some great components that will memyneeds while staying under 1000 bucks. Thanks. I want to beable to play wow at max or close to max while raiding with no issues. Thanks!!!

A modular psu means that most or all of the cables are detachable such as the 24 pin sata power cables and molex harnesses for example the psu above is semi modular meaning the cables that most likely people wont need are removable whereas all the cables that are essential are hard wired to the pcb inside the power supply if you want fully modular then go with the ax series but if you don't care get a non modular for a much cheaper price and tuck all the excess cables behind the motherboard tray

On a side not don't be discouraged that wasn't a noob question.
