This is my first time building a computer, mainly for gaming plus some minor designing jobs.

My budget is around $1000, not too fuss if it goes over a bit. Here's the part that I picked:

CPU: Intel BX80646I54570 i5-4570 3.2GHz 6MB LGA1150 Haswell Boxed CPU

Motherboard: ASRock H87M-PRO4 Intel H87 Socket 1150/4xDDR3/SATA3/USB3/HDMI/DVI/D-Sub/GigabitLAN/MicroATX MB

RAM: Kingston HyperX 8G Kit (4Gx2) DDR3 1600

HDD internal: Kingston SVP200S3/240G/SVP200S37A/240G 240GB SSDNOW V+200 SATA3 2.5" SSD HDD

Graphic card: Gigabyte R795WF3-3GD 3GB 7950 PCI-E VGA Card
Power supply: Antec HCG-520 High Current Gamer PSU

Optical Drive: LG Blu-Ray Combo

I'm really looking for a quiet running computer, fast starting and easily running on games highest setting. Please let me know if I choose the parts terribly as I probably did.

Help me out guys :)

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1ktqR here go with this this is way better for 1000 dollar and i went above the budget because of the ssd.
u dont have to buy one. u will save alot of money and you will barelly notice the diffrence.
u can buy on later down the road and you can buy a cpu cooler later. if u are gonna overclock but i dont think so because in your build you didnt go with a unlocked proccesor and a z87 mobo.
this is really better for your money

Hey man, that was a great build. However, I just realized everything is overseas as I'm in Australia. The shippment all together is way over the budget. Is it possible for me to help me a little bit more to pick the parts on this site MSY and select the location as SA, Adelaide CBD. I will be so so grateful to have your help :)

omg i am shocked ny the prices of the graphic cards 800 for a gtx 780?? that ridiculus.
okay so i needed to turn things down now i know you were living in australia it was a lot harder to make a good build.
this system isnt that good as the other one but still rocks and i really couldnt do better im sorry.
okay so the cpu is an amd 8 core pretty powerfull and competes wih the i5, more games are gonna use 8 cores becuz the next gen consoles will have 8 cores.
the ram pretty basic 8gb of g.skill ripjaws.
mobo, asrock extreme 4. now asrock is one of the best company`s ive ever seen.
the quality of asus for way cheaper. great mobo.
i`ve included a samsung ssd as boot drive for windows and some other programms
wd 1tb for all your mass storage.
the case cooler master ctorm enforcer. great just great.
i hooked you up with a 650 watt psu from cooler master wich will do the job perfectly.
finnaly the gfx card. i was shocked by the prices.... so i have o options for you. remove the fast ssd and go with a gx 760.
or keep he ssd and go with a gtx 660. your choice.

maybe youve already noticed but sorry for the bad english...

reply if u find a better alternative for something
