Hello, my old Asus 4850 HD cooler died few days ago, are there still any cheap coolers that I could use for this card?

I found this video really quick. This if for the "Pro" not the "Plus" edition, but I believe the only difference is that the Plus was made to fit a wider variety of chipsets. It might have a couple more optimizations, but I know there isn't a whole lot of difference.

That said, it looks like it is slightly more involved than installing an aftermarket CPU cooler. Other than the standard replacing the thermal compound, and screwing on the new cooler, it looks like you also have to take care to install tiny heatsinks on the chipset ram modules. It shouldn't be too hard, just follow the instructions.

Is it really worth fixing? It is quite an old card so even if you could find something that would fit it would probably be expensive. Could you not source a replacement fan from anywhere?

maybe buy a broken card off ebay and use the fan?

Well, maybe not really but, I bought new pc today, just wanted to fix this and give my old pc to my brother or sell it, there is e8400, 4gb ram, still can play new games om average settings, so why not.

Thanks! this looks nice and cheap, I actually found it in my country, hopefully they'll have it and hope its not difficult to instal a fan.
