Ok I bought my pc in 2008, it had
Core 2 Duo 2.53GHz GHz
1GB DDR2 RAM
Intel g33/g31

I know I have to open the side case of my cpu and look at power supply, but can you assume what is wattage of my psu? Just assume as I haven't changed it since then
Current specs
core 2 duo 2.53ghz
3GB RAM
Geforce gt 610
Please, just assume

If this is a manufacturer PC like dell etc...it probably only has like a 300W-400W PSU.

There's no way to guess accurately(or even close) without either a make and model number, or by opening up the case and looking.

The side panel of your PSU should say the model of it. With the model you search on the web to know the specifications.

The most important thing is to search for each rail wattage and amperage (12V+, 5V+, etc.), and see if each one is feeding your components as it should.

probably about 300w cheap psu. OEMs cut costs on these parts.
