I have two 1TB hard drives with Elementary OS on one of them (sdb). I want to install Windows 7 on the other one(sda). I think I can just install it on sda and then have GRUB point to it? Is there a way to automate that? Can I have grub find it automatically so I don't have to edit the files?

Thanks

I would do the following:
- disconnect temporary your Linux drive
- install Windows on the other drive
- reconnect your Linux drive
- use BIOS to select which OS to load (e.g. "press F8 for Boot Selection")

You could also install EasyBCD and add Linux to Windows boot menu.
