Hello everyone. This will be my first pc and I will be using it mainly for video editing, along with gaming and programming. I have been trying to keep the cost under $1000 including the monitor, os, and keyboard (I already have a mouse). I was wondering if anyone could tell me how long it will take to render a 10 minute 720p video for YouTube and on what settings I could play games on (in general) and still get 40-60fps. Thank you everyone.

I would get the FX 6300 , and the better M5A97 R2.0 motherboard

The LE version wont overclock well with no cooling on the vrm's , and most games will run just as well with the 6 core as with the 8 . Probably better since you now have more overclocking headroom .
The other thing to consider is AMD's next revision of the cpu to steamroller that may happen later this year . If you need more cpu horsepower that would be the time to get an 8 core

Also use win 8 . Better license , better features and easy to change to look and feel like 7

rendering would take about 10-30min depending on the program used and what effects you are adding. You could play on high settings getting a sold 40-60fps on most games.

Will the 7850 be enough to play games that are coming out this fall like watchdogs and the division on high settings at about 40fps? Will it also be enough for video editing?

The FX8320 is pretty much the same processor as the FX8350. You can OC the 8320 to the 8350. The RAM is fast. I have never heard of the Kingston v300 series so I went with the Sandisk Ultra Plus. I found a 7870 for less money.
