So, I've set up several routers in the past, but they've mostly been Linksys. My father bought a Belkin N150 and asked me to help him set it up.
Everything is connected correctly, and a "straight in" connection from the modem works fine. When I run the set up software supplied with the Belkin router, it takes a very long time trying to do whatever it's doing with the modem, then fails.
There's no indicator of what it's doing or what's going wrong, just dumb cutesy messages like "Performing router-fu!"
Anyways, not sure exactly what's going on. The modem is a pretty standard Motorola Surfboard.
