I recently upgraded my PSU from a 650w Corsair unit, to a 1000w OCZ unit. After doing so My computer will randomly shut off and back on when running CPU intensive games. I re-installed my 650w unit and the problem dissapeared. I contacted ocz customer support and RMA'd the 1000w unit, eating a $30.00 shipping cost. OCZ decided to send me a new unit, which I installed only to run into the same problem! Now surely I'm not so unlucky as to receive two lemons on the trot.
Is it possible the problem lies in the electrical wiring of my home? Or did I really get two lemons back to back? maybe there is even another solution I don't have the technical expertise to find?
