Ok so I plan on getting the fractal define r4 with this build http://pcpartpicker.com/user/joshj2398/saved/1Ucv and was wondering if there is enough airflow for the cpu and gpu to not get too hot with the sound dampening material inside it and the 2 fans it comes with. Should I get more fans if so which ones and what size?

it'll be fine, my 3570K + GTX580 are doing well, virtually silent at idle, light noise at load, using mobo's fan control. I'm using 2x 140's in the front and 1 120mm exhaust at rear, top is sealed.

Building a quiet pc? Don't go aircooled. A watercooler will exhaust heat not only from your cpu but all other components whereas an aircooler will blow heat from your cpu everywhere and as you have surmised, need more noisy fans to get rid of that heat.
