Hey everyone

O.K, here the problem. My laptop (Lenovo T61 Windows XP SP3) won't show any wireless networks. WiFi is turned on, like the switch is set to on and network connections shows that it is on, but the connect to wireless network window shows nothing at all. It just says, " No wireless networks were found in range." I'm thinking the wireless adapter is broken. There is a wireless network light on my keyboard that's suppose to light when I turn it on, but it doesn't. The bluetooth light which is beside it does light up when i turn it on. The wifi used to work.

My Xbox 360 and other laptop connect fine so something's up with this laptop.

Thanks

I just had this same problem. Go to Control Panel > System. In the System Properties dialog box, select the Hardware tab, then click the Device Manager button. Expand Network Adapters by clicking the plus sign. Right-click your network adapter, then select Properties from the popup menu. In the dialog box that appears, click the Advanced tab. Check to make sure that the Radio On/Off parameter is set to On. Click OK. Mine was set to Off even though the wireless switch on the front of the laptop was set to On. After changing Radio On/Off to On, my problem disappeared and I could see the network list and connect again. Good luck!
