Hi everybody! I average 50 -60 FPS on games like DMC5 tomb raider ETC. sometimes i notice a judder or screen tearing but it is not consistant enough to cry about. But! because I need to fly with my hair on fir all the time would it be worth is to crossfire XFX 7870 DD on my plasma (it seems to only put out max 60hz on PC, more on cable tv...) my FPS dips sometimes to 40-50 but NOT consistant and i notice the lag. is my TV making the game lag or would i benefit from crossfire?

ME: AMD 8350 4.2GHZ
Asus crosshair V formula Z
16GIG Corsair ripjaw (i think)
XFX 7870 DD 2GB
antec khulermaster h20
Corsair 800 PSU
a dumb looking silver ATX case

I would suggest just upgrading- go single GPU rather than multi-gpu.

Sell it and move up. A single fast card is better than two slower ones, especially with Crossfire.

Thanks for your answers, I decided to buy a Gigabyte GTX 770. that should fix the problem right?

ive decided to go the Nvidia route

I congratulate you on your great purchase, while personally I would've gotten the EVGA superclocked edition for $30 more, that 770 should blow your old 7870 out of the water.
