My video card was frying, so I replaced it with a Geforce 210, which necessitated me to upgrade my PSU. I got a Flex ATX 300W with a converter. I spent all day learning how to take apart my HP 3500f Slimline (yeah, I know, they suck-- but that's hindsight) and exchange the PSU. I'm almost at the finish line, but the blasted cord to the HD is about 4 inches too short!!! The ATX clearly states that it's compatible with the slimline 3000s. How the heck does this happen? What can I do?

Thanks so much, Jack! I saw the pic you gave me, but I wanted it right away so I ran down to Tiger, which is just down the street. I picked up an extension, hooked it up, put the rest back together and it worked! .... as of an hour ago. :(  The monitor's gone into sleep again and will only give me a "no signal" massage. Crap! What did I do wrong???
