Saving money on the h100i

Should i buy a refurbished h100i for about 30 bucks less or not scimp out for my cpu's safety?

  1. I would not buy a h100 in the first place.

    A good air cooler will cool about as well, cost less, be quieter and be more reliable.
    I see too many tales of woe when a liquid cooler leaks and destroys parts.

    Buying a refubished product is essentially buying it used- personally I'd just buy it new. So that's what I recommend.

    Im planning to squeeze atleast 5.4 - 5.5 ghz out of my stock 4.4ghz cpu i need water cooling

    thats what i was thinking, if it has a faulty hose or block i can blow out my whole system

    So saving that $30 could've cost you a whole new computer instead.
