how are the new graphics chipsets from amd?

The titan is a gk 110 chip (that too partially disabled!!!) and amd's gcn doesn't have an answer to any gk 110. Even a cut down gtx 780 is around 20% faster than a the fastest gcn card hd 7970.
In terms of absolute performance AMD can at most compete with the gtx 680 or the gtx 770. (which are based on gk 104)
However it doesn't mean that Amd is not competitive price....In the lower end of the segment (100$) cards like hd 7770 and hd 7750 tend to dominate.....
