My computer died. It was running fine and then suddenly shut off completely. I thought the power was out, but my monitor was running fine and the lights stayed on. I tried turning the computer back on, and the power light flashes for 1/2 a second and turns back off. I've done the paperclip test, and the power supply is not the issue. I think it's the motherboard, but I'm not positive. Any suggestions? My system specs:
Intel i5 3570k
Gskill 8gb ram
asrock z77 mobo
seagate 500gb hdd
amd radeon 6850
corsair 600w psu
I've had the computer for almost exactly a year now, and I've NEVER had any problems with it. There was a good amount of dust when I opened the case, but I don't think that'd cause it to just die. Would it?
