So with the next generation of consoles coming up fast, games are sure to take a good leap in graphics which is what pc gamers have been waiting for. I am getting a PS4 (please don't hate me) because I enjoy the comfort of sitting on my couch and playing on my 46inch TV but over the last 3 years I have also come to love PC gaming and hope to in the future ahead. With the boost in graphics I am looking to save up for a gpu that will last me through a good part of the next gen cycle. At the same time being reasonably priced. I don't plan on getting the gpu before I get my PS4 but after I get my PS4 I will purchase a new gpu so I am just wondering what would be a good choice. Thanks.

Current SPECS:
ATI Radeon HD 5870
Intel Core i7 920
6GB DDR3 RAM
Windows 7 Home Premium

Well I'd get the 9950( or 7950 equivalent) when that's released at that price range, but I'd wait to see what's offered for sure.

You mean PS4? Well, no that is not the only reason haha. The very first anything I played a video game on was a playstation 1, I went on to buy a PS2 and then I got an Xbox 360 and about four years later got me a nice gaming rig and a PS3. I have always enjoyed the great things both PC and Console gaming have to offer and I just want to make sure that my PC will last me through this up coming generation.
