I'm getting a SSD and I've narrowed it down to 2 different kind of SSD's, the Kingston SSDNow V300 120gb and the Kingston Hyperx 3K 120Gb. The Kingston is a bit more faster with the 3k, as I do believe, but is the extra $10-20 worth it for the HyperX or should I get the cheaper V300. For the V300, the cheaper one, it has a LSI SandForce controller and for the Hyperx it has premium 3000 program-erase cycle NAND with the second-generation SandForce controller.
All SSD are fast honetly if that feature matters to you then go with it. This is totally preferrence based at this point. For example I preferred the Plextor M5P Xtreme series over the usual M5P a few features and speed was the deciding factor for and only some slight difference in price like you say above. Go with what you feel is right speed wise an SSD is an SSD I would snatch the Hyperx personally but thats just me.
