Which one is Better Asus z87-K or AS Rock z87 extreme 3...
I want to buy one and these motherboards seems to fall into my budget.

Solution
Look go for the ivy bridge
Reasons
1.haswell is just 5-10% faster than ivy
2.haswell is more heat producin than ivy so better clocks with ivy
3.there is no news that the 1150 would support later series of processors (broAdwel)

asrock has better overclocking and voltage options compared to asus for this model. its the most basic model of asus for haswell but asrock presents more features so my vote goes for asrock between this two.

I'm new to this overclocking, but i certainly want to try it.
I got a very old PC with me which runs on Pentium IV 1.8Ghz with a AS Rock Motherboard, and it's 10yrs Old now. But still running without any Problem that's why i'm a big fan AS Rock.
Now i want to assemble a new one.
But some says they produce very bad Motherboard these days buy Asus instead.
So i'm a bit confused, what you have to say on AS Rock motherboard reliability?

Thanks for answering me friend. So let it be a AS Rock then.

I got one more doubt..! Is their any great difference between Ivy Bridge and Hasswell Processor. Should i go for Hasswell or an Ivy bridge ?

the major difference is the manufacturing process. haswell comes with smaller size chip.
performance wise; haswell is 5-10% faster per core than ivy-b.
but ivy-b is also better for overclocking since its larger by size, easier to cool off.
to be honest there arent really much difference as a casual/daily user... go for whichever you feel more comfy.
