I managed to break the 3 pins off the cpu fan pinout on the motherboard. And my boards bios doesnt support bypassing it. I dont really feel like buying a new board and noticed that i still have about 5/8 in of pin left under the plastic connector. Kinda odd that it set so high up but i gave it a shot and cut the plastic connection out and just placed my female connection on the remaining pins. Pc booted but the system fan error press f2 to continue showed up before boot. Now my question is will this work well and is there something i can do to secure the pin connection better?
