hi, so we bought this computer for the family. and i wanted to game on it, so i ordered the Radeon HD 7770. now ive seen great videos on this card, and it should be performing better than it is. so i installed it, and there wasnt a really good difference from the intergrated graphics. the cpu is AMD A4-6300 cpu. and it had the intergrated HD 8370D. now that it has the HD 7770 i thought the fps would rise greatly. but i was disappointed. is this a bottleneck. this seems to be a pretty good cpu though. so i dont really know. is there any way to increase the fps cause im not happy with the way it is now.

It could be a couple things. What PSU do you have? That could be one. The main reason would probably be the CPU. It is a weak CPU and is ultra low-end. What games are you trying to play? Did you install the drivers for your GPU?

I don't think it could be the psu. I bought a 500w when I got the card. When I installed nothing worked, so I researched. And it said to put it in legacy mode. The only way the system ran. So a new CPU. Would a amd fx 4100 or something be a bottleneck

Since you have an FM2 MB I would recommend the A10-5700k or something similar. The FX isn't compatible with your MB.

They are OK, but the A10 is the best CPU you can get for you MB. You could get a new MB but that's $100 or so plus a new CPU. It shouldn't bottleneck that card, but I wouldn't get a new card in the future for it.
