Hello. I have the i5 750 and I would like to know if it the i3 3220 would be better than mine.
I'll use it for non-gaming; just normal stuff, films and sometimes editing photos (but that's not the main rol)
Thanks for your help

logainofhades is right. Having the newest i3 will not be a bad thing, But if you already have a i5 750 quad then stick with it. That would be a waste of money and almost a downgrade in performance. The only thing the newest i3 beats the i5 750 in is single thread apps (and not by a significant margin either) Not to mention the i5 750 overclocks better than the new i3. And the i5 750 will beat it single thread with both overclocked. A new cooler is allot cheaper. But honestly you will be fine with today's apps and games at stock. I would wait until technology improves more on cpu's before upgrading from a i5 750 (even though there are significantly faster cpu's out now) upgrading to anything from a i5 750 would be a waste of money.
