which of these boards(Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H and Intel DZ75ML-45K)offer better performance with a i3 3220 CPU?
i plan to use it for casual gaming and multimedia. no overclocking just running everything at stock.

They will perform equally the same.
The only difference i can see is Gigabyte uses solid capacitor for all the capacitor while on the Intel there are still some electrolyte capacitor.
But I would suggest getting the Gigabyte since it is more common and a reliable brand.
