IMHO instead of going for 2 gtx 650 ti boost in sli, why not grab yourself a single gtx 760 which will run you about $250, give you the same performance as 2 650 boost cards, and it will leave you with $150 to $200 left over for a better mobo or an upgrade to your RAM, as it seems you will benefit more from having 8GB available for games. Or if you don't want to get more RAM or a new mobo, you could go for a nice 128GB SSD or a 1080P monitor
so where to spend my 450 dollars , i thought 2gtx 650ti boost is equal to gtx680.
In theory 2 gtx 650 ti boost are about equal to a gtx 680, you're right, but because you are gaming at such a low resolution of 1440 x 900, you will not notice any difference in fps. Even though theoretically 2 650 boost will give you more fps compared to a single 760, your monitor won't be able to display more than 60fps anyway, so you will have a lot of graphic power left over not doing much. If you can save up for a future upgrade, I suggest getting the 760 and something like the ASRock extreme4 z77 board now, then in a few months get a 1080P monitor and another 760 to sli.
thanks for making my myth clear , so if i buy gtx 760 will my psu able to handle that?
500W is what NVidia recommends for the gtx 760, having said that, cooler master is not well known for their power supplies and sometimes tend to under perform. If you are seriously thinking of going sli in the future, you will need to replace your PSU since 500W will not be enough to power 2 760's.
I'd recommend getting this PSU:
http://us.ncix.com/products/?usaffiliateid=1000031504&sku=78946&vpn=P1750BBEFX&manufacture=XFX&promoid=1275
XFX, made by Seasonic, Gold rating and on sale for $89.99, you will have no problem powering your rig with it. I have one, it's a solid buy for the price.
will it power my 760 at least for now so that i can buy new when i do SLI and iam not sure that i will do sli or not it depends on what performence i get from one gtx760 NOTE : That my current psu has on 1x6pin power connector
It should be fine to power a single 760 as long as you don't overclock your components and stress the psu. The 760 at full system load (including cpu and all other components) will require about 350W~, given your PSU's efficiency rating of 85% it should output at least 425W. So you should be fine, now you will need a 4 pin to 6 pin PCIe power adapter as the 760 requires 2 6 pin connectors.
in these two which one to go with?
ASROCK Z77 EXTREME 3
OR
MSI Z77 G45 GAMING
The MSI board features a killer nic card, which will give you lower latency for your internet connection and some extra onboard audio software for better surround sound, since it's better optimized for gaming. If low latency and slightly better sound is important to you, then go for the MSI. Otherwise, save the $40 and use them to get yourself an extra 4GB of RAM.
I found this Radeon HD7950 3GB card on sale at newegg:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202026&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=
It comes at $250 after rebates, this card trades blows with a 760, being about 5% faster or slower depending on the game, but it comes with 4 free games which is a sweet deal, thought it might interest you.
