Hi guys, I have pretty much got my system down.

ZALMAN Z11 Plus Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - $72.99

Western Digital WD Blue WD10EZEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive - OEM - $64.99

GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-4GD GeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready Video Card - $459.99

G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-17000CL11D-8GBSR - $70.99 ( -10% with promo code, so $65~)

Intel Core i5-4670K Haswell 3.4GHz LGA 1150 84W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics BX80646I54670K - $239.99

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R2 Continuous Direct Contact 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler Compatible with latest Intel - $34.99

ASRock Z87 Extreme6 LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

and

CORSAIR HX series HX650 650W ATX12V v2.2 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Those 2 are combo'd to $209.98.

In total, that's $1,153.92

Tax/shipping don't matter. I want to get my budget down about $30. With the -$7 from the RAM's promo code, I still have $23 to go. Any help?

Also, is everything compatible? Will the RAM fit next to the Hyper 212 Cooler?
I was told the RAM would be underclocked to 1333MHz by the processor. Is that true? Will the case fit my GPU? Is the Motherboard a suitable choice? Is the GPU I'm getting worthwhile, or should I downgrade? Will the PSU support my system?
The case fits everything and will keep everything cool, right? Also, I have two monitors. This won't be a problem with the build, right? Will I need any extra fans or thermal paste?

The most important question does everything fit/is it all compatible. I won't be able to resend parts for a refund for a few weeks, so I only have one chance at getting it right.

Thanks to anyone who has read this far! Thanks in advance for any responses!

Check out the NZXT Phantom 410. Same design, slightly smaller. Still pretty good looking and much cheaper in price!

2133 mhz RAM is...
-If you're gaming on a single 1080p monitor, you can grab the 2gb version of the GTX 770. That will save you ~$40-50 without losing any performance whatsoever. If you actually plan to game on both monitors, don't do it. It will be a bad experience.
-Cheaper RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148544 (It's a shellshocker deal so it only lasts today. Get it now before it goes out of stock).
-Alternative case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146078

1. Everything is compatible. There will be no ram clearance issues, but if you're worried then grab the crucial ram i posted above. Anything will fit with that.
2. The ram may be underclocked to 1333mhz. To fix that, go into the bios and directly input the specified speed (1600mhz, 1.5v, 9 cas).
3. the case will fit the gpu.
4. Your psu will support your system.
5. No problem.
6. The EVO comes with thermal paste.

What model GPU should I get if not the 4GB? There are so many versions, each are so similiar, have no clue.
Also, isn't the RAM I'm getting faster for a tiny bit more money? If I downgrade on the GPU, I should be fine money-wise.

If I were you I would get the gigabyte version. It has extremely nice cooling (and looks very beautiful). Use the extra $50 you save to upgrade the case to something like a Corsair 500R, NZXT Phantom 630, or Cooler Master HAF932, or just pocket it, and take a girl to the movies :p

That Phantom case made me drool, that's a nice case. However, too expensive. I also have a HAF Coolermaster case sitting next to me, it's the ugliest case I've seen in a long time..
Anyways, the Z11 fits my needs fine. I think I'll stick to the RAM I originally chose, the 2133mhz, it has better performance, doesn't it? $10 isn't that big of a deal. I dropped down to this card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125463
And now I have around $40 extra. Should I do anything with it, or go ahead and order it.

And also, how come that RAM he linked would be too big (hits my Hyper 212), but the RAM I'm getting doesn't? Its heatsink (I think that's what they are called?) is pretty big.

2133 mhz RAM is fast. Will it give you a noticeable difference in game? Probably not. Bragging rights? Probably.

With the hyper 212 EVO, you can simply move the fan up about half an inch (and have it off set about half an inch from the cooler's fins). It won't affect cooling other than maybe 1 celcius degree, and then you can fit any ram you want.

Cool. I can't even begin to tell you how helpful you guys have been. Anyways, I'm probably going to order in 20 minutes. Is the $20 upgrade worth it? Z11 Plus to NZXT 410. They both look cool, but the 410 doesn't seem to be that big. The earlier question once again pops up, will everything fit?

ALSO, I forgot one thing. I have a CD-R/DVD-R drive at my house im planning to install into the rig. It's a gcc-h20n made by HP, and has a standard IDE cable with it. That won't cause any problems, will it? it's old yes, will I use it more than once a month? Probably not.

The 410 is about the same size. It is taller and longer, but skinnier. It will fit the windforce 770.

As for the IDE cable issue:
I'm 17. I started using computers when I was 12 (hence my name. Birth age for me understanding the vast complexity and useful tool called the internet, even though I have not yet came to a full understanding of all it has to offer, and probably never will).
Me being 17... I know what an IDE cable looks like.. However I don't know where it plugs in to, I don't know which component sends it power, so I can't answer that question.

What I DO know:
I built my computer and completely skipped on the CD drive. I have never regretted for even a day.

ugh, I don't think the z87 has an IDE port on it. sucks. Ah well, I can always try to put my Win7 on a flash drive, can't I? Installing a fresh OS will work like that, correct?

Oh of course! I love expanding the PC market! More computers = more computer gamers = more competition in the games I play :D

I'm glad you are going down the PC path instead of console! :p

And if you need any help and come across something that is confusing while building, feel free to message me here and I'll do what I can to help you through any sort of confusion!
