I've just replaced my old PSU with a new Seasonic 620w Bronze. The power plug to the motherboard (24pin) is missing a pin.
The board won't power on. It is an Intel Extreme DX58SO board.
Any ideas on how to get it to work - or do I have to drive back to the store and beg them to take the PSU back ?

Solution
The missing pin (20) is -5v that no longer is provided by ATX power supplies. Did you connect both the 24 pin power cable and the 4 or 8 pin ATX CPU cable?

Yip- was a completely DEAD PSU .. my first ever - hence I was paranoid about it being any number of other things.
