Network monitoring software question

Im trying to find some software that can track my network over a long period of time.
No matter which program I've found it's only tracked it for up to 10minutes as where I need in the hours if not days. it doesnt need to show much or track much, just enough to where I can see when my internet drops out and comes back etc.

The reason is I recently got a new modem from Comcast that's been having issues, and while I've had them send me a new one, I still want to see if I can find a pattern with this one before the new one arrives.

Example of what Im using at the moment (just Rainmeter because its no worse/better than anything I can find)

Google a product called Nanowatcher. Its a free ping monitor tool that will keep count of failed pings. Ping out to Comcast DNS or something.
