Sadly, it does not support the FX6300 Piledriver processor, it only supports the previous Bulldozer processors.

Which version do you have ? If you have the rev. 4.x and the MB does support the FX6300. But if you have the rev. 3.1 then it does not.

This is interesting. I was looking for prices on this website called snapdeal.com which is down right now for maintenance. But I did keep a copy of the page . I uploaded at this link http://www.4shared.com/document/qR2XQMLY/GigaByteMotherBoard.html . it would be great if you checked it out. I couldn't find the revision from this link. if you find any other indicators that would be helpful

I have Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2PT rev 3.1, bios version F5a , week ago bought fx 6300 , all works fine, very good performance after I changed phenom x2 945 with fx 6300 ( FD6300WMW6KHK , boxed named as FD6300WMHKBOX ) overclocked cpu with boxed fan to 4,066 GHz, video card gigabyte gtx 660 , bf3 with 1080 resolution and medium video settings have min fps 75~80 . Good look! Why gigabyte doesn't write it in CPU Support List, that this motherboard support fx 6300 ?
