When i plug in my gtx 760 i get no output. I think it because i have no vga or dvi cables. Just hdmi, and in the instuctions it says to use vga on start up. Im wondering if it would be okay to install the cards drivers with it not in the computer and then maybe there would be a setting for it to use the hdmi out?
Can only get video with onboard graphics

Are you talking about the original setup where when you have no drivers installed it says "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" or something like that?
