Which PSU should I get?

I'm trying to decide how many watts I should get for a new power supply I'm choosing: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ALK3KEM/ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1F1FEDJPCDKJ02EX94HM&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1389517282&pf_rd_i=507846

Should I get the 600 watt version or 750 watt version. Keep in mind that I'm upgrading the graphics card for sure to a GTX 660 once I get a new power supply. In the future I will upgrade my hard drive to a 1TB and the CPU, but the CPU should last another year or two. I also don't want to change my power supply in a long time so hopefully the power supply that I end up choosing will last me at least 5 years.

Please don't suggest any other power supplies because I've already chosen. I just haven't chosen which wattage I should get. Anyways, much appreciated to whoever helps me choose which wattage I should get.

The CX is Corsair's budget line..... I would not expect 5 years out of a CX .... it only has a 3 year warranty .... TX has 5 years. Unless you are on a really tight budget, Id suggest the TX V2 series.

    Quote:
Minimum System Power Requirement = 450 watts
Maximum Graphics Card Power = 140 watts

590 watts then for SLI .... TX650 V2 be just fine .... better and cheaper than the 750M

And remember that PSU / CPU power requirements are going down not up.
  2. If you want it to last longer than get the 750w. It will allow for more upgrades down the road.
  3. CX PSU Are corsair's low quality PSU, get a better PSU, I'd recommend the Rosewill CAPSTONE-550 550W. this PSU can reach a wattage of around 650w on a review despite the 550w shown...

HI - You have a much better chance of your PSU lasting 5 yrs if you accept
Jack's advice and move up from budget/opening price point series to enthusiast
level or above. Better internal components and the longer warrantiy that
    comes from better quality units.

  5. That unit you chose is a decent one.600 watt is more than enough to power your future card.

Both will serve you well , but all you need is the 600w unit! :D
