I've seen a lot of arguments on the internet, stating that AMD Cpu's are trashy compared to the intel ones. While from what I've seen, the AMD ones perform as good as the Intel ones and are a lot cheaper. Plus i heard they are highly overclockable, but people still hate on AMD cpu's. Why?

Solution
Yes amds are good fr o.c.but intel cpus have bttr architecture
Intel has launched 22nm cpus but amd has till date launched 32nm only
Amd is still wrkin on 28nm

Intel cpus are less power consuming than the amds

Intel has hyperthreading technology which enables logical cores but amd dont have such
Intel cpus single core performance is significantly more than amd cpus

We have to find a real solution on Toms Hardware forum for reposts question and generic question like this ... maybe force new people to read a whole thread about the basics and then they take quiz about it some thing like captca and if they pass 80% and up then can create threads ...

AMD CPU :

Cheaper
Single core performance is slower
Usually consumes more power
Usually have more logical cores/threads/modules than intel counterparts

INTEL CPU :

Opposite of the above

I would ask the you read Tom's Best Gaming CPU's reviews(s) to get an idea of the current cpu's out there. I agree it would be a breath of fresh air to have some of the people asking questions like this do the smallest amount of research before asking. Mateous please note that the more general a question the less specific and perhaps less useful the reply.
