I've seen a number of similar issues, but nothing that exactly matches my issue, so please excuse me if this is a repeat, But I've been searching for over an hour already.
I recently bought a Lenovo H520S that comes with onboard Intel graphics, which despite it's claims, runs games worse than my old GeForce 8600GT.
After doing research, and finding what was available locally, I decided on a GeForce GT610 2GB graphics card.
When I first installed it, it worked fine.
The 3rd day, while loading "Star Wars, The Old Republic" my screen went blank. I had the card tested, and they said it was shot and replaced it.
The new card has never worked yet either. Thinking it was my PCI-E, I looked for ways to check it, and found the AIDA 64 program, which did recognize the PCI-E slot.
However, it recognized it as a PCI-E 2.0 X 1 slot, and the card is PCI-E 2.0 X 16.
If seen lots of questions asking about the other way around, but could this possibly be my problem?
Thanks in advance all...

If the MB really only have PCI-E 2.0 x 1 and no x 16 slot than it would not be able to use the full bandwidth of x 16 slot. This could be the issue. One more thing the PSU is it powerful enough to handle the GPU. Though its a low power GPU.
