Approximate Purchase Date: This week, tomorrow if the right deals are there.

Budget Range: (e.g.: 300-400) $1200 max.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: The only thing this computer will be used for is editing hd videos in CS6 Premiere Pro, and nothing else. The ability to import/export and move/edit those huge files fast is the only thing I care about. It doesn't need to be pretty, it doesn't need to be quiet, it just needs to edit videos quickly.

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: Everything

Do you need to buy OS: Yes either win7 or win8

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg I've had great experience with. ibuypower I've had horrible experience with, so I'd avoid them like the plaque. (12 week turnaround time, ugh)

Location: Manhattan, NY

Parts Preferences: As long as I don't have to tweak the parts to make them work, any are fine. I do have more experience with Intel and Nvidia products. I'm running on an msigt60-403us atm for gaming and I love it.

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: Only if needed due to price/performance ratio

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1200

Additional Comments: I already have a monitor

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: This will be a second computer specifically to be used to edit hd video. The only program on this computer will be CS6. I really appreciate the help!

Thanks!

Just so I'm clear, whatever problems CS6 was having with AMD products has been resolved? I know from reading some forums in the past that there was some issue, and before I pull the trigger just wanted to double check.

Thanks again.

I actually agree with you, even without overclocking an aftermarket cooler is always nice, if he could squeeze in some budget a h60 or h80i would be a good choice (at least it looks baller than normal and quite)
