I bought a 16GB USB flash drive to make a reinstallation USB through the recovery drive, but it doesn't work. I assume it is because the 16GB USB is for some reason only 14.5GB size and the program asks for 16GB or more. Am I correct?
I don't really want to waste more money buying a 32GB USB. So I am asking for other ways to create Windows 8 reinstallation media. Here are some questions I have:
There is an option to deselect copying the recovery drive in the "Recovery" program. This only needs 256MB space - can I reinstall Windows 8 with this?
In Windows 7 File Recovery you can make a System Repair Disc - can this reinstall? There is also create a system image - what about this?
