Is this a good first gaming budget build?

I was wondering if this was a good computer build, this is gonna be my first build ever, and I'm interested in this field for college, and i want something to game with since my Xbox was stolen recently and PC's kill consoles.

CASE: Corsair Carbide Series 500r
CPU: i5 4670k (planning to overclock to at least 4.5Ghz)
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i
Mobo: ASUS Maximus VI Hero LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
PSU: Corsair AX860 80 Plus Platinum
RAM: CORSAIR Dominator Platinum 16GB (2 x 8GB) @ 1600Mhz
GPU: ASUS GTX 770 Direct CU ii Top (Planning on getting another one later for sli)
SSD: Kingston Hyper X 3K 120gb
HDD: none (Im buying later im not planning on using lots of space)
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit ( Im gonna get Windows 8.1 or Blue when it comes out)
Accessories:
Display: ASUS VG248QE Black 24" 144Hz 1ms 3D Monitor (Planning on getting 2 more when i get the second GTX 770)
Keyboard: Corsair Raptor K50
Mouse: Corsair Raptor M40

I'm also getting an anti-static wrist strap cause I don't want to fry anything :P

The total is $2000.88 plus shipping and handling.

My budget is $2200.00 so it works out.

I appreciate any comments or opinions thanks.

if you really had the money then yes 770 would be a good choice
but honestly i would prefer sli 760s as it performs just slightly worse than sli 770s
  2. That seems quite overpriced to me. For that price you may even be able to squeeze in double 780s. But how much is the monitor?
